In the pet food segment, heristo aktiengesellschaft is one of the market leaders in Europe with saturn petcare and animonda petcare and is successfully represented in the USA and China.
By organizing heristo into strong, decentralized divisions under a strategic management holding company, the preservation and expansion of the family business is assured. The group generates around two thirds of its turnover with the production of trademarks.

THE FOUNDATION
OUR COMMITMENT TO FOOD SAFETY
The Heinrich Stockmeyer Foundation was established in 1995. The purpose of the foundation is to promote and support all types of scientific food research in the interest of safe food - and thus to promote consumer protection in the areas of food and nutrition.
The guiding principle behind the establishment of the foundation was to objectify fundamental and topical discussions on food safety by involving the scientific community. The foundation makes important research findings accessible to the general public and those involved in the food chain - from primary production to processing and retail.
