Sassenberg/Füchtorf, July 2022 - Ferdi Fuchs, the children's sausage brand from Westfälische Fleischwarenfabrik Stockmeyer, remains the most popular children's sausage brand in Germany and the undisputed market leader in this segment with a market share of around 50% in terms of sales and turnover (source: GfK Consumer Panel, sales and turnover of self-service children's sausages 2021). The top sellers this year are once again the mini sausages from Ferdi Fuchs. They are available in various sizes and are therefore perfect for different eating occasions. New to the range since September 2021 is Ferdi Fuchs Streich Spaß, a delicious, creamy spread that is a real eye-catcher in the chiller cabinet with its eye-catching Fuchs-shaped packaging.
For the current year, Stockmeyer has initiated various campaigns and promotions for the Ferdi Fuchs brand to further increase awareness and sales. Under the motto "Downhill Heroes", the focus is on the mountain bike campaign, which was shown in commercials on high-reach children's TV channels and in cinemas as well as on the website www.ferdi-fuchs.de and on social media. In addition to Facebook, Ferdi Fuchs has also been present on Instagram since this year and will be visible on Pinterest from September. Stockmeyer ran promotions and competitions based around the "downhill heroes" until June.
Summer promotion at vacation hotspots
Ferdi Fuchs then goes on tour in the summer: As part of a major promotional tour, the strikingly branded Ferdi Fuchs truck will stop at numerous vacation hotspots such as leisure parks, swimming pools and bathing lakes throughout Germany and surprise fans young and old with products and fan merchandise. From the fall onwards, Ferdi will be looking for the Schlaufuchs and encouraging the young target group to take part in a quiz to win attractive prizes. The "Ferdi is looking for the Schlaufuchs" promotion runs from September until the end of the year.
