Generational change in management: Stockmeyer prepares for the future

Guido Vienenkötter joined the management team in January. The 49-year-old native of Westphalia succeeds Dr. Karl Horst Gehlen, who, like Hans-Jürgen Meschkat, left the management team on March 31. In future, Detlef Kowalski, Torsten Reinhold, Marc Sodeikat and Guido Vienenkötter will manage the company and heristo's meat processing division.

Guido Vienenkötter, a trained butcher and food technologist, previously worked as Managing Director of Kaufland's meat products division for twelve years. His arrival also marked the departure of long-standing managing directors at Stockmeyer: Dr. Karl Horst Gehlen and Hans-Jürgen Meschkat had been at the helm of the company for 15 and 18 years respectively. Heinrich W. Risken, CEO of heristo, thanked the two departing managing directors for their many years of commitment and outstanding work. Dr. Karl Horst Gehlen is not leaving heristo quite yet: he will remain with the group as a consultant and will take over the group's association activities in the area of public relations.
