In order to further expand the strategically important market for the pet food division, heristo will produce directly in the USA from this year and has set up its own production facility in Terre Haute in the state of Indiana in recent months. After the new facilities have been tested for functionality in recent weeks, the production of pet food for sale will begin soon.

Despite the special situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which has restricted travel options among other things, the company is well on schedule. Dog and cat food in trays will come off the production line in Terre Haute, while canned products will continue to be produced at the production facility in Hattem, the Netherlands, and at the headquarters in Bremen for the time being. saturn petcare has already hired over 50 employees for the start of production in the USA.
